Flock Safety recently completed a review of account administration practices
within our law enforcement network and identified instances where user
accounts associated with the NCRIC organization did not align with our current
account provisioning requirements.
As part of our ongoing commitment to protecting customer data and maintaining
the integrity of the law enforcement sharing network, we have worked directly
with NCRIC to ensure account access is limited to authorized NCRIC personnel
and complies with Flock's policies and governance standards.
Out of an abundance of caution, we have taken steps to restrict access to
accounts that could not be validated under our current requirements while we
complete the review process. This action reflects our commitment to
continuously strengthening access controls and ensuring consistent application
of our policies across all participating organizations.
We appreciate NCRIC’s partnership throughout this process and remain focused
on maintaining a secure, trusted information-sharing environment for all
participating agencies.
